Getting all glammed up for the annual stage extravaganza, Anne Hathaway and Sarah Jessica Parker were among the stars on hand for the 2012 New York City Ballet Fall Gala on Thursday night (September 20).
The "Dark Knight Rises" actress and the "Sex and the City" star both took turns on the red carpet outside the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center before heading inside to watch the always-dazzling performance.
As for this year's Fall Gala, designing legend Valentino Garavani costumed the dancers in sixteen original ensembles with music including a range of pieces from Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin."
Along with talking about his work on the show, Valentino revealed that he personally designed the dress in which Miss Hathaway will be exchanging vows.
"She's a very good friend of mine... She's like my daughter!" the 80-year-old fashion great told E! News.
Continuing to heap praise on the actress, Valentino gushed, "She's sensational. She's fantastic. She's a girl that...She deserves what she has in this life. [That] means, she's already a great star. But she's going to be a great, great, great, great thousand times great star. She has all the qualities."
