After its first poster was released at Comic Con in San Diego, Warner Bros. Pictures released its first teaser trailer for ?Man of Steel.?
The Zack Snyder directed film stars Henry Cavill and Amy Adams and follows the famous superhero Superman on his journey to battle his villain General Zod, played by Michael Shannon.
Author Larry Tye recently spoke about the need for a positive superhero film saying, ?The success of The Avengers suggests how anxious we are for heroes who can set things right. Man of Steel, I predict, will do an even better just lifting our spirits and offering up a welcome escape.?
?Man of Steel? also stars Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner and is scheduled to hit theaters on June 14, 2013.
